Yuhan Mao studied book and graphic design in her undergraduate degree in Beijing, she came to UK to study MA user experience design at London College of Communication. During her BA, she was familiar with the techniques of print, bookbinding and typography. During her MA, she is good at created design outcomes that are research based in different mediums. She is a creative person with a collaborative approach. She also a quick learner who can adapt easily in any work environment.
THE INFINITY
The Infinity is a news reading experience for 18-34 year olds who are used to reading news in fragmented time. This project uses VR web technology to allow participants to explore news in the 3D virtual space. Users can customize the time they have before exploring the space and the system will recommend news to them depending on the time selected. By altering the traditional reading experience, the design aims to improve the user’s interest in news reading. The virtual space will also allow users to reach deep exploration and provide an information platform that explores the infinite world in a limited time.
