I AM MISSING YOU

Social media enables people to have real-time communication but also exerts pressure on international students when they contact long-distant friends, which in some cases affects their choice of whether to contact or not. The way of communication is not only dependent on words, but also some non-verbal signs which can be used as a carrier of information to convey emotions and feelings. Compared with verbal communication, non- verbal communication is a more lightweight interaction, which can leave more space for imagination and create a more relaxed atmosphere. Therefore, this project uses a non-verbal and a non-real-time communication product to help international students to more flexibly convey their emotions to help them maintain their long- distance relationships.
