Travel Puzzle

With the improvement in people's standard of living, group travel between young people and intergenerational travel is becoming more popular. However, Covid-19 has had serious negative impacts on tourism and people's travels have become inconvenient. Due to the epidemic, the lockdown policy can come into effect at any time and people cannot predict whether the city will be in lockdown or not, which makes they have to face some unexpected events. There are many conflicts that come up in the pre-travel planning phase. These conflicts can influence the user experience of tourists. This project studied the impact of graphic design on the user experience and the issues that arise in group travel. Also, the project provides an in-depth study of group travel and use visualized methods to help team members to make sense each other easily. One of the aims of the project is to strengthen the relationship between two generations in intergenerational travel. In the outcome, we have designed a travel APP based on gamification design theory. This APP will help group travellers to plan their trips together better, so that everyone can get a satisfactory trip plan. In addition, the APP provides users with the necessary information in time to help them solve unexpected events during travel. We hope to make the user experience better by reducing conflicts and improving the relationship between the group members.
