Ines Ziyou Yin was born and raised in Guangdong, China, who is a Cantonese and a Hakka. She studied Communication in Media, Arts and Design at the BNU-HKBU United International College. During that period, she developed her interests in video art, experimental media, logical reasoning, interacting with different people, and, especially, design. She then chose a field that can combine her multiple interests – UX design – for her Master’s study. Rational, critical thinking is as important as creative thinking in her design research and practices. She is currently interested in exploring embodied, multi-sensory experience design by critically speculating the digital era.
