William's Box
William's Box focused on promoting gender equality education in children's early learning. It is designed for 4+ years old children, and the main objective of it is to raise questions in their mind before the gender-based stereotypes settle in and show the alternatives for these stereotypes. The Box contains a storybook: William's Story, which is the adaptation of Willam's Doll; the Question cards and DIY toolkits allow children to question the gender stereotypes after reading the story. The Story Puzzle toolkit encourages children to create their gender equality stories and express their ideas. Playing it with as many people as possible, getting that “aha moment” of understanding how gender stereotypes affect all of us, is one of many ways we can help flip the board on gender inequalities.
