Hey, I am Ziyuan Dou, a visual designer from China. I've been designing in digital media, user experience and photography. My undergraduate major in digital media art provided a foundation for my interdisciplinary design.My design inspiration comes from the neglected details in life and I like to capture these little details with photography. I usually think critically about the future development of artificial intelligence and the existence of extraterrestrial life in the universe.My latest project is related to extraterrestrial life and scientific facts, and I hope to arouse your attention and thinking.
The Silent Truth
It’s an imaginary story about Adam Arroway, an astronomer who accidentally came into contact with extraterrestrial life, and has been questioned and criticized for his inability to provide evidence that meets humanity's definition of a scientific fact.
People often abandon proper questioning and thinking because of "definitive science" or "established facts." Based on the theme of "the process of defining scientific facts", this project will convey information through the installation and narrative environments to stimulate people's thinking about whether scientific facts are the product of human procedures.
