SENSIBITION

Sensibition explores how the human senses can reveal the meaning of a photograph. Our project aims to turn photography into a personal experience grasped through embodied sensation. Due to the existential, multisensory, and embodied nature of the experience, delivered through workshops with the photographic artist and visitors, experiments were conducted to decipher participants’ emotional responses to different combinations of sound and textiles. Our outcome, illustrated through an interactive physical model and concept video, demonstrates the abstraction of specific human senses to create a multisensory experience of three photographs by Jinsun Park.
