Regenerate Button: Wind & Rain
Project ‘Regenerate Button: Wind & Rain’ aims to challenge perception of and interaction with buttons. Under the framework of object-oriented philosophy, this project sets all human and non-human objects on the same ontological footing and investigates their interactions. Research and analysis reveal that a “button” is much more than the predetermined characteristics embedded in human minds: a “button” can emerge from any interaction between two entities. The outcome demonstrated in the project illustrates how wind and rain as natural elements can generate a “button”.
