Hi, I'm Vicki Sun, a User Experience Designer with a background in Art History and Archaeology. With several years of work experience in museums and art galleries, I'm most interested in bringing new life to seemingly established forms of culture and synthesizing disparate cultural forms such as raves and museums. I am always on the lookout for aspects of cultural life that have yet to be explored with an eye to making the visitor experience as impactful as possible. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to talk more!

Choreography for Museums: A Series of Event Scores

An interactive booklet of mental and physical exercises for museum visitors. It seeks to facilitate a more embodied, collective experience of the museum space, encouraging a materialization of the micro-interactions and social tendencies that are already present in museums. Taking inspiration from the Fluxus art movement, the booklet is broken down into four parts: 1. Solitary Event Score, 2. Event Score with a Friend/Loved One, 3. Event Score with your Fellow Museum Visitors, and 4. Event Score with Architecture/Furniture. Through these exercises, the museum visitor is encouraged to think about the social world that exists around the objects on the wall and ways to experiment with a seemingly established script of museum-going codes of conduct.
