London's hidden social etiquette

"London's hidden social etiquette" is a multisensory experience that explores the hidden social behaviours of Londoners from the lens of international travellers. Through experiencing daily life in a playful way, foreigners could have better knowledge of a different culture, and explore their relationships with it. The design corresponds to three hidden social etiquettes in London — “Make no eye contact with strangers on the Tube”; “People apologise frequently” and “Never stand on the left side of the escalator”. This project features a pair of glasses, a suit, and a measurement stick along with a humorous video that presents the scenarios using the tools.
