Let's enjoy the sidewalk shed

There are numerous sidewalk sheds on London's streets that serve as both particular pedestrian spaces and scaffolding supports. They are places where behaviour is restricted, where people don't feel welcomed, and where, according to research, oppression and uncomfortableness are often experienced. These scaffoldings negatively affect the experience of citizens who are provided with little opportunity to oppose. We started with the negative emotions that people particularly felt, designed nine action challenges that could fight against such emotions depending on what behaviours these emotions often led to in the various scaffold routes. In order for the passers-by to liberate their bodies and let go of the unpleasant feelings through various actions and movements. The sidewalk shed might have social values beyond its intended function when people are able to do different movements and stretch their bodies through the challenge tour. The sidewalk shed under the scaffold is a space that will not dissipate in urban development. Hopefully, people will be more active in these areas of the city where construction is taking place. Perhaps in the future, even in the absence of an interactive sign, people may want to relax and shake themselves as they move across the sidewalk shed.
