Yufan Zhang is currently studying MA user experience in UAL. She has strong research and design skills. She studied Animation as an undergraduate at Guangdong University of Technology in China.During undergraduate studies, she learned graphic design, 3D modelling, programming games design, 3D and 2D animation and even digital media, film shooting and editing and so on. She has ability to learn across disciplines. She likes to dig into users’ behavioral psychology and data analysis, also good at visual design. She hopes to integrate her curiosity and passion of technology into user experience design and interactive design to help users have a better experience. She has fully prepared for the challenge.

THE BLIND MEN AND THE ELEPHANT

The terms “post-truth” and “fake news” have become increasingly prevalent in public discourse in the past few years. The design allows audience understand “post-truth” and its consequences. This including media distorted the facts based on their political stance and the public easily be guide by media due to their ‘confirmation bias’. These two factors cause the public to make a choice and speech that bring negative effect to the event itself. This is the result of both the media and the public. As information consumers in the post-truth era, the first step to effectively combat the “post-truth” is to understand it. Thus, the public increase the awareness to think critically about fake news.
