This project investigates the effects and advantages of recycling on the environment, exploring the UX of everyday garbage separation, focused on the London borough of Southwark. The overall aim is to seek pragmatic approaches for environmental sustainability via investigating the interrelation between urban recycling and the natural environment; components that profoundly affect human living conditions and everyday experiences. The design is a waste separation learning app and posters for publicity and for giving reminders in homes. The goal is to ease the difficulties of waste sorting for users and to provide more compelling and vivid recycling tips to help change and form habits for daily recycling.
