Hoard the World
The project explores how souvenir consumption becomes a symbolic ritual of control. Drawing from Belk’s Extended Self theory and the behavior of squirrels hoarding uneaten reserves，it reveals how humans tame uncertainty by possessing fragments of elsewhere—turning objects into illusions of mastery, comfort, and emotional security in an uncontrollable world.
