Hakka Odyssey
Hakka Odyssey is set against the backdrop of the migration history of the Hakka people. The author’s growth experiences are incorporated into the narrative, creating a context that connects history with the present. The project takes gender stereotypes as the entry point, exploring the tension between cultural conditioning and self-expression, and presenting the flow of identity and memory through Hakka culture. It reflects on time and regret – some innocent thoughts are actively abandoned.
