Labels Matter

Labels Matter

“Labels Matter” investigates how museum labeling shapes perceptions of cultural identity. Focusing on misrepresentations of artists like Arkhip Kuindzhi, it reveals labels as interfaces of power, not neutral metadata. Drawing from radical museology, postcolonial theory, and cognitive psychology, the project reimagines labeling as dialogic authorship and promotes transparency, context, and critical participation in galleries and museums.
